Coverage

Cash at the door is not a Moroccan peculiarity.

The product was built Morocco-first and the data model said so for a while. It does not any more. Cha-Ching runs in 27 countries across 7 regions, in 34 currencies — and the confirmation call is the same job in every one of them.

The shape of it

Where the parcel is paid for at the door

In Iraq, something like 88% of e-commerce settles in cash. In much of the Gulf and Southeast Asia it is between a third and two thirds. Even in Western Europe, where card is overwhelming, the cash tail is real enough that sellers in it have the same refused-parcel problem at a smaller scale.

Every dot on the globe is a row in the same table the signup form reads from, so the map, the country list on the form and the database cannot disagree. Open markets burn; the rest are marked and quiet.

Every market

The list, with the share of e-commerce that settles in cash

Those percentages are published market figures we cite, not our own order data — deliberately. A country we entered last week would otherwise read as 0% and look like a dead market. A country marked opening exists in the system and is not yet accepting applications; write to us if you are there and we will move it up.

What travels, and what does not

Honest about the parts that are local

Travels everywhere

The order lifecycle, the confirmation call, the access rules, the ledger, the KPI definitions, the portals. None of it is country-specific and none of it needed changing to open a new market.

Configured per country

Currency, dialling prefix, the tax identifier a business is asked for, and the calling window — which is evaluated in the customer’s own time zone, not the centre’s, so a centre abroad cannot ring somebody at dawn.

Still local, and we say so

Couriers and cash remittance are national. We model couriers generically and reconcile against what they actually remit; we do not pretend to have an integration with a carrier we have not built one for.

Not everywhere, on purpose

A market opens when there are centres in it worth listing. Admitting sellers into a country with nobody to call their customers would be selling an empty directory.

Your country not on the list?

Tell us where you are and what you sell. Markets open when there is somebody in them worth listing, and that starts with you writing to us.
